First J-15 fighter lands on Liaoning aircraft carrier

According to reports in the Chinese media, the first J-15 fighter has successfully landed on the Liaoning aircraft carrier, which recently set out to sea.

Dai Mingmeng from the East China Sea Fleet accomplished the first carrier landing using arrested gears after first practicing using touch-and-go. Takeoffs were also conducted.

Wu Xiaoguang, the deputy chief designer for the People's Liberation Army's national carrier project, had previously stated that actual test landings on the Liaoning were imminent.
