Egypt orders 6 Airbus C295 and Kazakhstan receives first 2 C295 aircraft

Shortly after the Colombian order for the Airbus C295 transport aircraft, Egypt has also placed an order for 6 more Airbus C295 aircraft.

This third batch brings the total number of Egyptian C295 to 12. The turboprop aircraft are scheduled to be delivered from the end of 2013 onwards.

The Egyptian order brings the total number of C295 ordered to 121 in 17 countries, of which 7 are repeat customers. Meanwhile, the 2 Airbus C295 aircraft that Kazakhstan ordered last year have also been delivered.
